Blower Head

WAUSAU’s TS Vertical Auger Two Stage Type is a unique design combining two hydrostatically driven vertical augers with a huge mechanically driven 65” impeller. The augers complement the feeding of snow into the impeller allowing for much higher hp/tonnage ratios than conventional two stage design.

Power Package

The standard engine provides between 500 and 600 hp and output of over 6000 tons per hour. Power is transferred from the engine to the blower head by a gear drive. All drive train components are engineered with ample built-in safety margins to assure reliability and longevity.

Carrier

Specialized, heavy-duty chassis of 45,000 lbs. GVW with a minimum 27,000 lbs. front axle rating (single reduction axles). Carrier engine options range from 300 to 470 hp. Available with WAUSAU’s Maximum Visibility Cab (U.S. Patent Des. 366,267) for unsurpassed views and operator comfort.
